Ashtarak Town
Ashtarak is one of the oldest cities of Armenia with numerous historical and cultural monuments that allowed the town to retain the flavour of the ancient and beautiful Armenian town. It was founded in the 9th century and reconstructed in the 17th century. There are several churches in the center of the city: Tsiranavor basilica church(5thc.),Karmravor church(7thc.), Spitakavor church(13th-14thc.), St. Sargis church (13-18thcc.), Marine church (13th c.) and the Old Bridge.
