Matosavank

Matosavank monastery consists of two adjoining churches, porch and book-depositories. There is a cemetery near the complex. The church is constructed in 1205 from rough hewn stones. It's a small, covered with the arch structure. On a facade stone there is an inscription about the foundation of the church. There are khachkars near the churches.

On the western part of the church adjoins the porch. This square premise has vaulted overlapping. Walls are constructed from rough hewn stones which from within are plastered. It is shined with a unique window in the western wall. Some tombstones are immured in a floor.

From the south the side-altar is adjoined by the book-depository. This small premise with a vaulted covering. In east wall there is a separate input. On a southern wall there are windows.
