Latar hotel was built in May 2006. It has qualification of 5 star hotel (The certificate of qualification N17 given by Armenian Ministry of Economy in October 28, 2009).
Latar is the name of an ancient village in the Occidental Armenia, where the hotel owner's parents came from. So the hotel is called on their honour.
