Day 1.
30.04.12 Yerevan-Sevan-Dilijan(147km)

Arrival to Yerevan.
Meeting at "Zvartnots" International airport.

Tour to the "Armenian Pearl" - Lake Sevan which is the 2nd high-altitude lake in the world with its sweet and astonishingly blue water. Here you will taste the most famous species of fish called Sig and Ishkhan, with the latter meaning 'prince'. Visiting Sevanavank Monastery on the same name peninsula, where the second seminary in Armenia is situated. Transfer to the city of Dilijan. Tour to Haghartsin Monastery, which in the 12th century became a significant religous and educational center in Armenia. Support in check-in. Overnight at the hotel(Dilijan). 

Day 2. 01.05.12
 Dilijan-Yerevan(122km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Tour through the old Dilijan town and visiting  Dilijan Branch of National Museum of Folk Art after V. Sharambeyan. Don't miss a chance to promenade through the narrow side-streets to feel all the national color of this amazing town. Mayovka meeting.There will be arranged a cozy open-air place near a mountain brook specially  for you. The place is  far from the everyday hustle and bustle of a city life, where you will have the chance to attend a master-class of BBQ (armenian khorovats) preparing. You will participate in cooking national dishes, special for the first days of May, with a skillful chef assisting you. After that you will have a chance to have a rest and learn one of  Armenian people's favorite folk dances called 'Kochari'. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel(Yerevan).

Day 3. 01.05.12 Yerevan-Echmiadzin-Zvartnots-Yerevan(71km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Yerevan - the pink wonder of Armenia. Check-in support. 1-hour rest. Tour to the Museum-Institute Matenadaran - one of the unique institutes of ancient manuscripts in the world. Trip to centuries-old monuments Echmiadzin and Zvartnots listed on UNESCO World Heritage list. Visiting the Churches of 3 Holy Virgins: centre-domed cruciform church of Saint Hripsimeh (618), domical basilica of Saint Gayaneh (630) and 'domed gallery' type church of Shoghakat (1694). The Mother Cathedral of Echmiadzin (303) is the official residence of the Armenian Catholicos. Continue tour to Zvartnots - a Temple of Vigil Forces dating back to the 7th century. Returning to Yerevan. Visiting Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex dedicated to the memory of the 1.5 million Armenians who perished in the first genocide of the 20thcentury  at the hands of the Ottoman Empire. Overnight at the hotel (Yerevan).

Day 4. 01.05.12 Yerevan-Khor Virap-Noravank-Areni-Yerevan(240km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Erebouni Museum of the History of the Foundation of Yerevan which stands at the foot of the Arin Berd hill, on the top of which the Urartian Fortress Erebouni has been constructed. Trip to Khor Virap Monastery Complex (4-18th centuries) the importance of which is connected with Gregory the Illuminator, the first Catholicos in Armenia, whose lifetime was glorified by the addoption of Christianity in Armenia in 301. Here you can enjoy the spectacular view of the sacred Ararat Mountain - the immortal symbol of Armenia. Continue the tour to Noravank Monastery Complex (11-13th centuries) situated among amazing sheer rocks on the bank of a twisty gorge. On your way back you will visit Areni Church of XIV century. The village of Areni is also famous  for its excellent wine, which you are welcome to taste. Back to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel(Yerevan).

Day 5. 01.05.12
 Yerevan-Tsaghkadzor-Noratus-Selim-Yerevan(188km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Trip to the town of Tsaghkadzor, one of the most popular mountain-ski-resorts of Armenia. In winter season don't forget to enjoy the ski-equipment and the rope-way that will take you at 2940 m height above the sea-level, giving you an opportunity to enjoy the magnificent view. Next tour to Noratus village - one of the few Ancient Armenian settlements that have kept its name since the ancient times. As early as in XVI century there was a residence of Armenian princes, and right in the center of the village a church to the Holy Virgin was raised which stands till nowadays. The village is prominant for its Khachkars (cross-stones, the oldest one dating back to 996 AD) which find their place in a huge cemetery in Noratus village, the second largest after the cemetery in Jugha (Djulfa). Visiting Selim (Sulema) Caravansary (14th century) which was an important part of the Great Silk Road. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel(Yerevan).

Day 6. 01.05.12 Yerevan (50km)

Breakfast at the hotel. All this wonderful day in May you can devote yourself to the rest. For example, you can have a promenade with Yerevan map in your hands, you can enter any of the cafes that you liked, spoil yourself with something tasty. There are many shops and markets. If you need help our employees are always willing to do that. In Yerevan you may feel safe to walk till the night. Visit the theater or the Opera in the evening, you will like it, for sure. Overnight at the hotel(Yerevan).

Day 7. 01.05.12 Yerevan-Garni-Geghard-Yerevan(80km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Garni Temple (1stA.D.) which is the only "witness" of Hellenistic Epoch in the territory of CIS. It's the only pagan temple preserved in the territory of RA after Armenia addopted Christianity in 301. The temple is dedicated to the powerful pagan God of sun called Mithra. After numerous Roman attacks, the temple was reconstructed and dedicated to Mithra, the God of Sun. Continue tour to Gegard Monastery(12-13thcc..). Geghard was initially known as Ayrivank (Cave Monastery). The name refers to the biblical lance with which a  Roman soldier pierced Christ's body. Hundreds of Khachkars (cross-stones) and can be observed in the rocks surrounding  the Monastery. Geghard Monastery and the upper Azat Valley are inscribed on the World Heritage List. Return to Yerevan with a stop at  Yeghishe Charents's Arch.  It is from here that one of the greatest Armenian poets of the 20th century admired the view of the double-peaked Mount  Ararat. Return to Yerevan. Visiting Yerevan Brandy Factory and degustation of the best sorts of Armenian cognac. Overnight at the hotel(Yerevan).

Day 8. 01.05.12
 Yerevan(25km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visiting the History Museum of Armenia where you will get acquaintanted with the large collection of materials connected with history of Armenia and ancient eastern countries in the Armenian Highland and the National Art Gallery in the same building which opened its doors in 1921 when the art part of cultural-historic museum was opened. Leisure time. Banquet supper in the restaurant "Old Erivan" with live national music. Overnight at the hotel(Yerevan).

Day 9. 01.05.12
 Yerevan(50km)

Breakfast at the hotel. Visiting an open-air souvenir market Vernissage, where you can buy something memorable for you. Free time. It is possible to reserve an extra-excursion.
